About me

Greetings. My name is Jordy Thery

I am a gamer by heart and an all-round tech enthusiast. I studied economics, and I am an Apple fanboy. I always like to have the latest gadgets, and in a true geek fashion, nothing is ever overkill. Over the past few years, I've been involved in several online communities. When I was diagnosed with CES back in 2011, I fought my hardest battle. I've learned to walk again and I lost half of my weight in one year, and I am still going to rehabilitation on a daily basis. I am very stubborn, and I never quit before I achieve what I want. This is both a blessing as it is a curse.

Next to playing Call of Duty, Battlefield, Crysis, Grand Theft Auto, Need for Speed, Grand Turismo and the likes, I got into MMORPGs as well. I've played Guild Wars for over 6 years, and am impatiently waiting on Guild Wars 2. Recently, I started playing World of Warcraft again, and I am looking forward at playing the Mists of Pandaria expansion. As far as this site goes, it has gone through many overhauls. I concentrated on tech blogging, but, after a year of daily posts, I wiped them all. I built a forum, but put it on hold quickly after its completion. Now, the blog is used as some sort of diary I suppose, and the forum serves as a display of my skills. I am currently very active over at AC-Web, where I am helping people with WoW emulation. I wrote several guides and my repack is being maintained on a daily basis.

In my daily life, I am currently employed as an accountant in my dads company. Whilst I am interested in economics, my main passion is tech and that is what I'd want to end up doing. I will probably head back to school soon to get the necessary certificates to work as a technician in a computer store or as a Genius in an Apple Store. I have dreamt about starting my own company, but I doubt that I will ever be able to do so.

I am always open for business inquiries, as I have a lot of spare time, I'm always looking for new projects to work on. I'd prefer being a columnist on a tech related website, or customer services agent. You may - always - contact me with any proposals, most if not all of them will be looked into and answered within 24 hours.
